Two Interview Opportunities Sunday the 30th (Patreon)

A week from today, Sunday October 30th, we'll have our next Patreon-exclusive live interview, at 10:00 a.m. US Mountain time: William R. Short returns to the channel with his co-author Reynir A. Óskarsson to talk about "Modern Vikings: Traps and Pitfalls." Of course these are the gentlemen behind the book Men of Terror and the resource-rich website at Hurstwic. Reynir A. Óskarsson will also be a guest on the regular Youtube channel update for Friday, which will be something a little different for you (but still very Old Norse).

Right after that interview, so at 12:00 noon U.S. Mountain time on Sunday October 30th, I've been invited to an "AMA" ("Ask Me Anything") on the subreddit r/languagelearning. I haven't done anything like that since my first book was published in early 2015, but hopefully it will go OK. Of course I'd be happy to see anyone from Patreon there!

As another reminder, we also have monthly Old Norse "office hours" this Tuesday. 

Some of these pictures I've been putting on posts here and on instagram lately come from a session I had with a photographer who specializes in county western album photos (it was a favor in repayment for another favor). I think he did a good job, though it's all perhaps a little "dramatic" for just photos of me. I haven't quite figured out what to do with them yet.
