I've never done a good job of getting out the word that I have recorded audiobooks for my translation of The Poetic Edda and The Saga of the Volsungs (with The Saga of Ragnar Lothbrok). Those have also been joined since November by the twelve-hour class on Norse Mythology that I recorded for "The Great Courses."

Now, I don't like the cover art that they chose for the Great Courses class, and there are other imperfections that I am told about (for example, I'm told that whoever reads the chapter titles has no idea how to pronounce anything). But the ratings and reviews seem pretty good (at least on Audible). I also worked hard on it, and I think I did a decent job of creating a summary of what we know in an orderly fashion. It's also (like the Hackett audiobooks) available for free with Audible Plus, apparently.

Anyway, if you haven't checked it out, I just thought I'd mention that these last few days of June would be a good time to do it (for me) for the purely selfish reason that my first royalty check for it will be calculated from sales through June 30th. And because I'd appreciate any comments or feedback that Patreon supporters have about it.

By the way, we might eventually record audiobooks for The Wanderer's Hávamál and Two Sagas, but we haven't identified the right group to work with yet, and there are some logistical issues with recording The Wanderer's Hávamál (because of the two languages, the notes on the stanzas, etc.). But if either of those projects goes forward, you'll be the first to know.

All the best for now, and thank you for your continued support and kindness,

Jackson Crawford

P.S. My Patreon messages don't work. I don't get notifications for them, and there's nothing on my home page to show me when there is or isn't a message. I can't even always see them when I check for them manually, and you won't see it if I reply! The best ways to get in touch are: a) just to comment on posts like this, b) to post  in the  Community page, or c) to email my assistant Stella at [admin AT JacksonWCrawford.com]--remember the 'W' between my first and last names in that domain name.
