I'm sorry to everyone who signed up for our Crowdcast today with archaeologist Axel Krogh Hansen and was disappointed that it didn't work. Our technical difficulties prevented it from going forward. In fact, Crowdcast has been so buggy for so long that I think it's finally time for me to abandon it and start hosting these live interviews on Zoom.

I have pretty limited experience with hosting Zoom meetings, but I am getting some "tutoring" to learn how to do it right.

In the meantime, the live interview with Axel Krogh Hansen has been rescheduled for two weeks after its original date and time: thus, Sunday, January 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. U.S. Mountain time. I will post a registration link once I have enough command of Zoom to post the right thing, but you can put the day and time in your calendar anyway.

Again, my regrets for the problems with this Crowdcast and previous ones.

All the best for now, and thank you for your continued kindness and support,

Jackson Crawford

P.S. Long-time supporters will be tired of hearing about this, but Patreon messages don't work. At minimum, I  don't get notifications for them, and there's nothing on my home page to  show me when there is or isn't a message. I'm not good at checking for them manually, and though I occasionally do, I can't even always see them when I check for them manually, and you won't see it if I reply! So for new supporters especially, remember that the best ways to get in  touch are just a) to comment on posts like this, b) to post in the Community page, or c) to email my assistant Stella at [admin AT JacksonWCrawford.com]--remember the 'W' between my first and last names in that domain name.

I use Zoom daily for work. Good luck on the zoom crash course!

Put your cat-o-9 away. We all completely understand. Thank you for continuing to bring this community such good information. I would never have access to such interesting conversations otherwise. Put the Crowdcast logo on your target and have at it. You’ll feel better. Remember to post a picture so we can see your groupings.
