I'm so glad to see the "go back and check" here. When we read the Iliad in high school I got hopelessly lost trying to keep everyone straight. And even learning about the Romans, with their confusing naming conventions (Remember that guy Scipio? No, not that one...) I'd have to reread to make sure I had everything straight.
