Early last year, William Short of Hurstwic visited us for a live Patreon Crowdcast talking about Viking weapons and combat.  As promised, he'll be back with us later this week to answer more of your questions on those always popular topics, fresh off of writing about them in his new book Men of Terror: A Comprehensive Analysis of Viking Combat, co-authored with Reynir A. Óskarson.

The Crowdcast will go live this Friday, 10:00 a.m. U.S. Mountain time, so I hope you can make it and bring your questions (the time ought to display in your own local timezone at the registration link). Our previous Crowdcast with William Short brought out a lot of great information and I'm sure this one will too.

All the best for now, and thank you for your continued generous support of my videos,

Jackson Crawford

"Men of Terror" has got to be one of the coolest book titles ever.

This is really unrelated to the Crowdcast (though it does involve Hrólfs saga kraka), but I feel like a good pairing would be Ármann Jakobsson's "“Queens of Terror: Perilous women in Hálfs saga and Hrólfs saga kraka," haha: https://www.academia.edu/1359142

I have to agree with that!
