Erilaz-tier, suggest video topics! (Patreon)

From time to time, one of the perks of being an Erilaz supporter is you get to suggest video topics.

If you are an Erilaz supporter, use this post to suggest a video topic that all supporters will vote on in a poll after about a week. Please limit your suggestion to ONE topic this time. If you suggest more than one, we'll only put the first one into the poll. Feel free to repeat your suggestions from previous months, however.

Other guidelines are the same as before:

1. I'm not going to remake a video about a topic that I already covered well. See JacksonWCrawford.com for a list of all available videos.

2. I won't cover a topic that will embarrass, insult, or offend me. I reserve the right to judge that a topic does, without explanation.

3. Please keep it to a *topic* rather than a translation request. E.g., "How did the Norse talk about mental health?" could be a great topic. "What is the Old Norse word for 'crazy'?" isn't. Non-Norse topics are potentially okay (I could talk about, I don't know, my experiences, or about some broader topic in linguistics potentially) but not if they're completely outside my wheelhouse (I don't have the expertise to talk about the Mabinogion authoritatively, for example).

Even when topics "win," it can take me a long time to put together the notes to make them. At the same time, topics that get a lot of votes but don't "win" the poll, are still likely to get made as well.
