Here is your usual Patreon extra lesson on the vocabulary in an Old Norse lesson, and the Old Norse lesson you're getting early this week is on sá "that (one)," which also has the unusual distinction of being obligatory in Old Norse when you're making relative clauses. In other words, in Old Norse, you obligatorily say "I am that one who knocks."

I've gotten enough complaints about the Old Norse lessons taking up too many of the channel updates that in September I'm moving them to every other week, at least publicly. You'll still get them early on Patreon, and if I don't have an early lesson for you on a given week, I'll probably just post some other vocabulary for you in a themed unit like I did in the "words of the week" before we started the Old Norse lessons on Youtube.

If you have any other ideas on how to go about that, or feedback about the lessons more generally, feel free to let me know.

For now, let me thank you for another month of your generous support, and wish you all the best,

Jackson Crawford
