Just because it's what occurred to me would make a theme, here's some Old Norse vocabulary about being happy. I sure hope some of these words can apply to you as we rocket into June, and I thank you all very much for your continued support.

I really enjoyed the sound projection in this video. When you speak softly I sometimes need to read your lips or put my phone to my ear to hear you so big thumbs up from me. And as always thanks for the awesome videos. I've actually been wondering how to say "smile" for a long time so you solved that for me :)

I see "heppin" doesn't use double runes. I've heard you say that double runes aren't normally used. But why do they exist in some places (such as dynnastone?) are some double rune uses ok? Or were they all normally frowned upon / not used?

There's no Webster's for writing runes; there were general trends but no hard and fast rules anywhere. So while it's unusual to see double consonants written, it does happen, and presumably some individual carvers were in that habit.
