After our very enjoyable Crowdcast with Jonas Lau Markussen earlier, I thought I'd make a Patreon vocabulary video that sort-of tied into art and artwork, so I'm covering colors in this one. I'm fairly sure I did most of these during the period when it was just the "Word of the Day" and appeared on Lens, but this format lets me get deeper into the subject. And it's a subject I've gone a little too deep into.

Meanwhile, I hope everybody's healthy and happy out there. I appreciate your continued support and will see if I can get some more Crowdcasts firmed up; we have a few I've talked about doing with various people but haven't been able to schedule yet.

All the best for now,

Jackson Crawford

What I'm asking is if I wanted a textile in yellow, how would I ask my seamstress in old Norse? Given that we know they had yellow.

"Bleikr," probably with an example of the exact kind you meant (for example, they could and did use "daisy-bleikr" to indicate that yellow was meant).

Well unlike the government I think I will listen to the expert. Thank you.
