I doubt anyone is more frustrated and disappointed at the delayed Amazon roll-out of The Wanderer's Hávamál than I am. So far I have not seen the promised change to regular "in-stock" status, although I have heard from a small trickle of people who pre-ordered (all in the U.S.) who have gotten the book from them this weekend.

In the meantime, our local Boulder Book Store does have about 60 copies in stock (last I heard). If you're in Colorado, they're a great place to visit, and even if you're not, you might consider ordering from a great local business that has supported me since long before I worked at CU (they were the only bookstore that hosted a talk and signing for my Poetic Edda when it was released in 2015, when I was between university jobs and no one knew who I was or owed me anything).

Translation requests were pretty heavy this week and I've had to take them slow to give my wrists and elbows more time to get better; it's possible I'll end up just combining them in one post with this coming week's (last round of) requests. If I don't take it slow, the fourth book will truly not get done, and I'll end up shooting tonight's match one-handed like I did two months ago (not that it went too badly, I'm glad to say).

All the best for now everybody,

Jackson

I knew when I ordered from Amazon I wouldn’t get it quickly, but as long as I get it, I’m happy. Cheers Dr, and thanks.

My copies arrived today. Hackett Publishing were so very pleasant and helpful. Now to decide if the hardback or soft back is a gift for me.
