Crowdcast with Professor Howard Williams on Tuesday (Patreon)
Content
On Tuesday, August 20th, I'll be hosting my third Patreon Crowdcast with special guest Professor Howard Williams of the University of Chester. He is a specialist in the archaeology of death and burial in the Early Middle Ages in Northwestern Europe.
The event is for Patreon supporters only (up to 100) and it does require a password to register, which is: colt
The event will be at 10:00 a.m. my time (U.S. Mountain time) but the Crowdcast link will give you the event time in your own timezone. If you can't make it, the event will be recorded and made available later.
I encourage you to check out his blog first, where you can read more about him, he's done a really interesting series of posts on the archaeological questions around Viking warrior women. Here's the most recent post in that series. This is a great chance to talk to someone who really knows the archaeology of this fascinating and controversial subject firsthand!
Edit: If you already know a question you want to ask, or if you know you won't be able to attend and want me to ask a question for you, please send me those questions either as comments on this post or as Patreon messages so that I can give him an idea of what to prepare for.
