I've talked with my publisher about this and we've agreed that my translation of the Prose Edda will also include my translation of Ynglinga saga ('The Saga of the Ynglings'). This is the first short saga in Snorri Sturluson's other major work, Heimskringla, which is a history of the kings of Norway. But The Saga of the Ynglings is concerned mostly with the gods, as ancestors of the Norwegian kings. I thought it would be appropriate to include together with the Prose Edda, because it's the only source of a few myths and it's also part of the overall profile of Snorri's understanding of the Norse gods.

As far as I know, this is the first time that the two works will be included in one volume in English.
