As most of you probably know, even if we don’t have much free time (full time jobs, homes and families take up a lot of time!) other than keeping the Unseen64 website updated, doing researches, reply to messages and back-upping files from lost games, we are also working daily on the Unseen64 book, a volume with the 250 most interesting cancelled games for all the main consoles and PCs from 8bit to the 7th generation (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii), a few of which are previously unknown games not in the website yet. The book will also have a series of essays about gaming preservation and interviews with developers that worked on cancelled games and in closed development studios.

If everything will go as we plan, we should be able to publish the Unseen64 book in mid 2016. At the moment we have about 185 articles completed and a few interviews. In the next few months we will continue working hard to complete all the articles and focus on contact forgotten developers to ask them everything we always wanted to know about their lost games and failed gaming studios.. do you have a defunct development team that you’d like to know more about? What would you like to ask them? Write a comment down here with the name of the studio and your questions, we will try to contact someone that worked in there, for a detailed interview :)

You can take this list of closed gaming studios to have a better idea of which companies were closed down and find your favorite ones!
