Keeping up with our broad queue of lost games waiting to be remembered, we added 3 new cancelled games in the Unseen64 archive:

Nirvana [PC]:a cancelled sandbox open world RPG that was in development for PC by Team Nirvana around 2004. At the time it was a fascinating project inspired by beloved CRPGs such as Fallout, but it was probably too ambitious for such a small team, composed of young developers from Germany: https://www.unseen64.net/2019/10/27/nirvana-game-cancelled/

Invasion [PS2]: a cancelled massive online multiplayer shooter in development by Turbine Inc (mostly known for other online games such as Asheron’s Call and Dungeons & Dragons Online) for Playstation 2 around 2003. The team worked on a single-player prototype to test gameplay using Driver-Inter‘s proprietary engines, but in the end the project was cancelled, probably because of difficulties in creating a proper MMO game on the 6th generation of consoles: https://www.unseen64.net/2019/10/26/invasion-turbine-ps2-cancelled/

Joe VS. The Wall [SNES]: a cancelled side scrolling action adventure in development / to be published by Ocean Software for the Super Nintendo, around 1992. It was listed by Nintendo Power (issue 34, March 1992) as one of the games shown by Ocean at the ‘92 Winter CES, with just a few details: https://www.unseen64.net/2019/10/26/joe-vs-wall-snes-cancelled/
