I enjoyed it too overall. I wasn't sure about the first few episodes because I knew every scene that was supposed to come and it was weird when it was different. But once I started watching it as a brand new show, a new take, it was much more enjoyable and fun to see what was coming next.

I personally liked the show! I do think the CGI was a little weird in some scenes in the series but overall, it’s not meant to be a 1 for 1 and I like what they did ! I also like that it spans multiple seasons

You know what really helped with watching the show and not compare it too much, was understanding that they were exploring different sides of the of the characters that we only got to see minimally in the cartoons. Exploring different arcs like a what if situation and I personally respect that and enjoyed it.

Countdown to Katara comparing the tragic loss of her mother to Aang's loss after learning his entire people were genocided, that is the main thing I have always hated about her! I did thoroughly enjoy this show! Of course there were many changes I didn't care for, and a few I utterly hatted, the 2 main ones in this episode being the grandmother delivering the intro out of nowhere and Katara being the one to bend the massive wall of water instead of Aang. But there were also many changes I liked and even loved. I thought starting with the comet 100 years ago was great. I also think that Dallas portrayed Zuko season 1 Zuko perfectly, and was by far the best thing about the new series!

I’ve never seen the original series so this was awesome to me.
