I remember when Nickelodeon released Rags like a few months before this. They both have similar vibes to each other. I think one of the mains is Keke Palmer.

No they’re not - Rags is a retelling of Cinderella and Let it Shine is a retelling of Cyrano. Two completely different stories lol😭😭 Someone said this in the chat too, I think ppl are just grouping them together since they both were released so close together on children networks

I wouldn’t say it’s the same plot since rags is gender swapped Cinderella and this is cyrano, one of my fav cyrano plot movies is Cinderella once upon a song funny enough starring Lucy hale. Both plots in one 😂😂

Lol, sorry didn't mean to say plotwise. What I meant to say is they have similar vibes and I find it ironic that they were released around the same time. Obviously they are different plot lines 😂 I feel that Disney and Nick have always been competing with each other with similar shows and movies but obviously changed enough to make there own. Like "Spectacular!" And High School Musical.
