Without any spoilers this aired as a special, it was apart of 3 different shows that each had a wishing star plot. The shows weren’t crossover episodes but it was a theme night. I remember the advertising for this episode and the other shows episode that was part of the wish upon a star.

there was a disney special called 'Wish Gone Amiss' weekend! Disney Channel often did themed special nights with certain shows following a theme for the weekend of new episodes :) there like 'non-canon' episodes that are a bit weird and quirky
