I'm glad you enjoyed the finale. It was a FANtastic finale to a vastly improved second season. It ticked all the boxes for readers and non-readers alike. I am a multi-time reader of the series and enjoyed the "adaptation". They adapted the story well; there were some differences and some things introduced earlier than in the books. No complaints. Villians are even better in the TV series.| S3 is 1/2 filmed at this point and from what I've heard there will be another 2-3 months of shooting until wrap up of all filming. Expect a long post-production as you can see how much time and effort was put in in S2 to improve visual effects. No need to say that acting, writing, and music were top notch. S3 release date will undoubtedly be impacted by the writers & actors strikes. My best guess based upon the currently published schedule is early 2025. Regarding S4, I'm also guessing that they will probably green light S4 by fall. It is clear by numbers, 520Million Viewing hours (according to Nielsen and others) that this is a top program and deserves to at least maintain the current level of funding. Let's hope they increase it a bit more so they can vary the sets as needed for upcoming seasons.
