I originally just completely skipped this whole arc on my first watch. I missed Lois lol I picked right back up with the next episode “infamous” and just watched the “previously on” to catch the important parts of this terrible arc. The show will immediately pick right back up. There was indeed a Lana clause, and we call it the Lana hiccup lol. I won’t spoil anything, but trust us when we say to keep watching. Things have been set up for the future and everything will fall into place over the next 2 seasons.

You made it through the worst!! I haven't met anyone who likes this Lana arc. I always skip these last three episodes on rewatch (I still like Bride and Legion despite Lana's return). It's so bad. Yes, it was a contractual thing with Kristin, that's why she came back. If it makes you feel any better, even the creators of the show regret this story arc. But it does pick back up and becomes great again. Hang in there!!

i LOVE this arc, i’m sorry but this lois just doesn’t appeal to me as a love interest after the chemistry of lana and clark so i was soooo happy when lana returned and clark fell for her again…their love will be go away despite the circumstances

You made it through the worst! Don’t worry, you’re certainly not alone in hating this arc 😖 It was just so unnecessary and poorly done. Try to remember that you really liked the first half of this season! lol this is just 4 episodes out of 217–there’s so much more good than bad going forward. I promise the show does bounce back from this!
