Season 3 is such a step up storyline wise compared to Season 1 and 2. The main story in these 2 episodes will always be relevant. This series has a lot of 2 parters but for me this is one of the best 2 parters of Degrassi: The Next Generation. I would say of all the 2 parters from the series I always go back and watch the "Accidents Will Happen" (3x14, 3x15) and "Pride" (3x04, 3x05) the most even though there are still some great 2 parters in future seasons.

I think you forget that Craig didn't get to see Angela, so Joey is technically his stepdad, but he didn't raise him. Also, Joey doesn't really raise Craig. He doesn't parent him much, if at all. In a lot of ways, Craig is just crashing there and takes care of Angela like rent tbh. Joey acts more like a roommate than a dad.

This episode was banned in America when it first came out, I remember the first time I saw it it was a degrassi marathon we’re they promoted it was never before seen episode

It makes a lot of sense. Craig coming from an abuse and having lost his mom... Most kids (people) from messed up homes are eager to have their own kids and make their own family like 'the family they never had' ... even if they're too young to handle such a responsibility.
