Okay finally got to watch the Justin one. As someone who was (and still is to some degree) a Justin fan, i was always very uncomfortable with how sexualized Justin was. There are SO MANY clips of grown women (celebrities, mind you) grabbing him on stage, trying to kiss him, etc when he was JUST 18 or even 16/17. Like being asked to give the sex talk whe he was 15 to a radio host. Earlier this year a clip of Jenny McCarthy was kissing him on the neck and grabbing his ass, and Justin clearly said loudly "wow i feel violated". She even said afterwards, proudly, that she took the opportunity and molested him. Literally those words, so proudly. I am very passionate about how Justin was literally raised, from the age of 13, in this industry surrounded by grown men who did drugs and drank. He lived poor, with a single teen mom and a dad who only came into his life when he got famous. He admitted that he started doing heavy drugs at 19 and treated women badly. And I am not surprised at all considering he was raised on the road by strangers, no one his age, since he was 13. It's very sad. Anyways, Justin rant over.

Okay, re Nicki Minaj’s Barbie Dreams (I’m sure people might have explained in the live but) this is a remake of Biggie’s Just Playing (Dreams) off of his Ready to Die album. He made a so-called joke song about his dreams of having sex with women in R&B. The creepy thing is he wrote a lyric that literally says “Make Raven Symone call date r*pe.” She was nine at the time. And there’s some other extremely questionable moments in there too: “I’ll probably go to jail for f*cking Patti Labelle,” and “smack Tina Turner give her flashbacks of Ike,” but it’s considered a rap classic. I think Nicki taking it and spinning it’s head talking about messing with rappers is great lol There were some wild/funny lines, but at least they weren’t criminal. And yeah, Nicki is crowned the Queen of Rap for a reason. Now, she just gets on my nerves lol but no one is messing with her pen. She really did open the doors for other female rappers to have success.

Ellie Goulding: Burn Lol I might make multiple comments for multiple videos haha. But yeah, definitely not her best song. I will say it follows the classic pop formula of verse pre-chorus chorus second verse pre-chorus bridge broken down pre-chorus that builds into explosive final chorus. Very good way to make catchy hits, but certainly repetitive. It doesn’t bother me here, but there are some songs where it does bother me.

Sam Smith - I’m Not the Only One I assume because after we see her smoking the cigarette, the scene goes back to her sobbing on the floor, which we saw at the beginning, that she just imagined doing all of that and didn’t really do any of it.
