Like stiles said Peter is not a reliable narrator, since he’s telling it from his perspective. And also Gerard is not a reliable narrator. They manipulated the stories to make them look like the good guy or the guy that didn’t nothing wrong. If you didn’t notice, the stories they told was very different from what we were shown in the flashbacks and the flashbacks are what really happened. For one it was all Peter’s idea to turn Paige. And for Gerard’s story, he ambushed Deucalion, not the other way around like he told Scott and Allison. That’s the biggest two lies told in the stories.

Also if you notice in 3x04, Deucalion talks about a beta who tried to take his power. This was the beta he was talking about, Marco. He thought he couldn’t lead as a blind alpha. Him killing Marco, is what made him realize killing a beta of your own, adds to your own power. So we can all thank Marco for the alpha pack 😂
