I agree with you. Easily one of the best episodes in the show.

I'm so glad you immediately appreciated the wonderfulness of this episode. In general, I'm not someone who thinks an episode that deviates from the format of a series is automatically better... but this one WAS extraordinary, start to finish. And I have to give it up for Andy Samberg, having made his name in sketch comedy, absolutely playing on an equal level in a 3-hander with two of the supreme trained dramatic actors of our time. Bravos all around.

this is one of my absolute favorites from the show. SKB was emmy nominated for an emmy for this episode, well-deserved. Holt and Jake were on fire too, just so so good.
