I'm glad you like Claire. I never thought about the not saying goodbye to Jody thing when this first aired. I was just too scared they were gonna kill off ANOTHER female character I love. I read somewhere that it's speculated they had to keep killing off awesome female characters because obsessive fans got super jealous, but I'm glad Claire escaped that. Probably cuz she's a kid and therefore not a "threat". I actually really miss the dynamic between Claire and Cas, so I wish he had been in this episode but I know he has other important things to deal with and if he'd been here he probably could have cured her? Maybe? I miss the dynamic between Jody, Claire and Alex, too. I want to see more of them. Regarding the team situation you mentioned, I was never a fan of the BMoL, and I would have hated them joining an organisation like that, but I LOVE the found family aspect of this show. I wanted them to make a "team" of their own, especially when they found the bunker. Maybe have Jody and the girls, Cas, Garth, Donna, Charlie, etc., move in and we build our own hunter network in that way, y'know? That could be our team. I wouldn't have wanted a procedural type thing, but more of a family come together to hunt and do the right thing. They all have their own lives in different places so I get why that never happened but still...that would have been so cool.

2023-10-01 14:48:26 Also, say what you will about the angel/demon storylines but Misha Collins literally saved this show. He was meant to stay for 3 to 4 eps but he's lasted from s4 to s12 by now. The show wasn't even supposed to last this long and when they tried to kill him off (s7), it backfired so hard they had to bring him back. I don't agree that he shouldn't have been so involved with the storylines.
