Yes, so, the beginning was only there to serve as an “intro” to a 2000’s style video, basically her paying homage to that era. The video was very much in the style of Ciara, Beyoncé, and J.Lo videos from that era. A little Aaliyah and Janet in there too, naturally, since Normani is very much a dancer. She also has collaborations with Sam Smith and Khalid that are popular and have music videos - Dancing with a Stranger and Love Lies respectively. I know dancing with a stranger has over a billion streams on Spotify and Love Lies is up there as well!
