I LOVE THIS EPISODE SM. Bummed I missed it on live but excited to watch it later!

This last stretch of season 2 is top tier Must See TV. Every episode HITS. And I can STILL hear the follow-up to that last scene from when this episode originally aired on the WB: "Tonight's all new episode of Charmed featured music by...The Goo Goo Dolls!" They were pretty big in the late 90s, so it was a pretty big deal to have them play P3 at the time.

You missed the point prue was trying to make when she brought up her dad. She wasn’t comparing. She was wondering if her dad feels hurt for not being in their lives and that if he was then why wasn’t he making an effort to be in them

I'm so hype that we're sooooo close to season 3. Season 3 is nothing but back to back bangers and top tier writing.

You've definitely heard goo goo dolls before. Look up their song "iris" pretty sure you heard it because you reacted to the movie "a Cinderella story" with Chad Michael Murray and Hilary Duff and it was played during a pretty big scene in the movie.

I 100% agree this was one of my favorite eps of this season, I mentioned being excited about this one on the live for ep 17, I personally loved each of the sister's stories so I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The Goo Goo Dolls were literally EVERYWHERE during the time this episode aired. I remember January Friend, Broadway and Iris most vividly. This episode was incredible. You're right - all 3 storylines were great. We're entering the era of 98% amazing episodes for Charmed and I'm so excited. I think Prue wasn't comparing their dad to Cleavant. I think she was just wondering if it ever hurt him to think of his daughters and know he's not and probably will never be a part of their lives. Most people with absent parents would wonder that once in a while (I certainly do) and I do like it a lot that by the end of the episode, she's made peace with the fact that Victor will never be the dad Cleavant is and there's just no use wondering. I like that she didn't sign the card. The Leo file confused me cuz if it didn't have pictures of Leo, maybe Dan would've thought "oh, this guy is a fraud. He stole some dead army medic's identity." That would have made more sense, seeing as how he was so protective of Piper. But there's pictures! What did he think? I'm so curious...did he think the pictures were doctored? Tell me your thought process, Dan. It's VERY sweet of him to still care for her. I do agree it's out of line for Piper to talk to Lilian behind Leo's back. She didn't do any harm but it is a matter of privacy. Although I can't be too cross with her because I also understand her perspective. I don't think she knows much about Leo's past life beyond the fact that he was a war medic. It must feel like she's with someone she doesn't know very well. Especially with him being a Whitelighter. They haven't shown us ANYTHING about other Whitelighters, where his bosses are, what his life looks like outside of the Halliwells. She wanted to know more. She could have just asked him. I was hoping for Phoebe and Charlene to be friends too. All 3 dad related stories were sad in their own ways but I'm saddest for Cleavant. Hope he gets some peace...
