Yes, they mentioned someone called The Source in this episode several times. I'm not gonna spoiler anything more than that. Dan is a good guy, but you can help who you fall in love with. And this episode is just to show Piper making a decision at last. Dan wasn't in it , coz this episode didn't need him. It was all about Piper and what she feels inside without Dan's and Leo's constant tugging on her from opposite sides, and just making a decision for herself. She didn't break up with Dan here, just finally realized what she truly wants. As fun as it was, I'm not a huge fan of Prue/Bane storyline. I don't think it needed to be a romantic storyline, since he is not sticking around to make it a decent love interest for her anyways (unless she's gonna date his ass in jail, IDK) P.S. I love Phoebe's sweater. It's super cute.

Prue had more chemistry with Bane than she ever had with Jack in all the episodes he was in. As far as Piper and Leo go...I assure you that, when this episode originally aired, that last scene where Piper finally acknowledged out loud which guy truly had her heart, the entire Charmed fandom went nuts. IT WAS ABOUT DAMN TIME. LMAO @ Steven being the opposite. No, Dan is not a bad guy. But literally no one on the show ever said he was. And on that same note, Leo is not a bad guy either. And neither is Piper for following her heart. This is what dating used to look like. The demon who was one of the two guards escorting Bane out of the prison in the opening scene (and later got killed by Litvac) was on Buffy in the season 1 episode "Never Kill a Boy on the First Date". He was the vamp at the end that knocked out Buffy's date Owen, and then got thrown into the cremation chamber by a pissed off Buffy. What's funny is you just saw Owen on the episode of Charmed two weeks ago, where Phoebe's 3 classmates turned a snake, rabbit, and pig into 3 college guys. The guy who played Owen on Buffy played the snake guy in that Charmed episode.

I think the reason for bane and jack was for prue to move on from andy. They were never going to be love interests that actually stuck around. This whole season is a transitional period for prue. She also moves on from bucklands and you can even see her style becoming more sexy and carefree. Shes starting to have more fun and she’s taking risks that she normally wouldn’t have before.

All true. But Jack(as much as I hate him) at least stuck around and was an actual boyfriend. I would much prefer if they did a longer arc with Bane instead, kinda enemies to lovers relationship that is not confined to a single episode. They also have good chemistry between Prue and Bane, where with Jack it always felt more like a little brother dynamic with Prue, and he was an extremely annoying and useless character.

Oh, damn. That was Owen? I never actually put it together. Maybe coz he was so blond on Buffy, and so dark here, idk. Also. I actually like that Dan is not a bad guy. He is one of those rare occurrences in tv and movies back then, where "a nice guy" is the actual nice guy if you know what I mean. Like, he is literally the perfect guy next door. Like he has no faults, except for he is getting a little jealous sometimes, but it's like normal jealousy and he has legit reasons. But I am team Leo, obviously, and I was like, YES, finally we are done with love triangle, she made her choice.
