So excited! Going to watch it now!

Tess is the same actress that played Sage, Fin’s girlfriend in Vampire Diaries. And the blonde that escorted Lois out of her office was Aunt Jenna.

Excited for you to watch this season!

I have never felt that Clois was forced honestly. I have felt their chemistry since she began so i was just waiting. Clana has always been the forced ship in my opinion.

I've never felt that Clark and Lois were forced I always loved it. I grew up watching it and it just always felt like they would grow into their relationship. Plus I feel like even though it carried into season 7 most fans were done with Clark and Lana season before and had been waiting for Clark and Lois since she was introduced. So for us it felt like finally we had been waiting for so long

I think there's always been an attraction between Lois and Clark, that they generally bury under a ton of sarcasm and banter (this behavior is directly alluded to by Oliver in season 6). Additionally Lois has been well aware that Clark was in love with Lana, and Clark's been aware Lois has been in love with Oliver. But now, they've been friends for years, and have been open, and vulnerable with each other (when they each comforted the other during their breakups (oliver and lana)). At the end of this episode Lois admits that Clark was capable and heroic, and well, we know she has a history of finding of heroism attractive. So, IMO, I don't find it forced. I think their appreciation of each other has been growing, subtly, for years.

You know why Lois “suddenly” interested in Clark? Because Lana isn’t there anymore. Lol. Both women can’t be on the show and like Clark at the same time. I mean Lois couldn’t even be a brunette because Lana was there and also a brunette and it would be too confusing for the fans! 🙄

He only thinks it's forced because he knows nothing of the source material other than "they're supposed to end up together". Lois isn't what he pictured in his expectations... so he'll say it's the writing when he simply just doesn't understand chemistry when he sees it. I mean, it's always been obvious Lois likes Clark. She messes with him for a reason. It's almost too obvious 🤣

I do think it’ll be interesting to see your reaction to the final years of the show. One of the reasons this part of the show is so popular is their (meaning Clois) dynamic even beyond romance but just their Daily Planet storyline is pulled from the comics. You’ve never really responded to Lois so I’m intrigued to see your reaction going forward.

Tess Mercer was created for the show, she's basically a hybrid of both assistants to Lex Luthor (Miss Tessmacher from the original Superman films and Mercy Graves from the comics)

You always forget Lois works in the “basement” where rookie reporters work so Clark getting hired to work in the basement as a rookie reporter makes sense. Also clark was a reporter in hs it wasn’t a big focal point but he did report for the school paper.

Plus I definitely don’t feel like Clark and Lois is being forced you could always tell there was an attraction there and tbh I feel like the later half of Clark and Lana was forced. In the high school days it was cute but after that it just didn’t work for me.
