OMG I am so surprised and glad you love that little bit about the Intro. I love this idea so much. It's probably a world record of how late the intro was in this episode, about 16 min into the episode!

The wife of Loeb was already revealed to be in on the plan on episode 7, after Walter saved him, there was the scene with his wife in the hospital where he told her the location of where David Robert Jones was teleporting to (the British guy in the German prison). This episode was great, there are some very interesting developments. And even though it has some MOTW feel to it, this was very much part of the mythology of Fringe. Remember what Loeb said at the end, if you can. He mentioned 2 sides, saving Olivia and her being important! This will matter later on. Regarding killing her, Loeb most likely believed that when she escaped that his plan with her was ruined and he didn't want to be exposed and that is why he ordered his wife to kill Olivia. I don't think he had permission from David Robert Jones to kill her. (remember he seemed to be in charge last episode). I really enjoy these reactions. Please bear in mind though, Fringe is the kind of show where you really need to pay attention, since all little things from previous episodes can matter in the overall arch and it is easy to miss things (take notes if you can/want) It would make this show much better and make you realise the cleverness of the writes. Anyways, I am really looking forward to seeing you react to the way the story unfolds. Until next time...
