this is a great episode on its own, but once you get deeper into the series you'll realize how important it is to the show's main story arc.

Welcome down the rabbit hole Steven! I would like to introduce you to a game that we played when the show was airing. It is called "SPOT THE OBSERVER". And, I promise you, he has been in every episode so far, ever since the pilot! You have seen glimpses of him in every episode, without your brain probably not even registering it. And the observer will be shown in every episode, most of the time for just a fraction of a second, so only the most obsevant will be able to see him. Now if you go back you will see the observer in the following: -1st episode he was walking outside Massive Dynamic building when it was introduced, around the 55th minute mark. -2nd episode he was standing right behind them watching in full view when Broyles was explaining what happened to the baby! Around the 9th minute mark. -3rd episode - it was only a glimpse when Olivia was searching the train for the perp around 42nd minute mark. Besides that, I wanted to say to please pay close attention to the info presented in the show, this is one of those shows, where if you don't pay attention, you miss many cool things, connections and callbacks later on. Despite what anyone says, this series does not really have any pure standalone episodes (maybe one or two for the entirety of the show). Most episodes fill at least one piece of a big puzzle which will reveal itself beautifully in so many holy shit moments down the line so stay tuned! Please try to remember for future reference all that Walter had said about Peter so far. He has referenced a medical condition and the accident where they fell through the water. They are important details for what comes next. Now for some Fun Facts! - The cylinder they worked on this episode, was seen in a drawing of that guy who could read minds in the last episode. Forshawdowing was was coming this episode. -The spelling of the symbols on this episode (trainsitions) is ROGUE. This episode was so great. And important. I know you don't think so now, but give it a chance, it feels more epic than creepy to me.
