I'm pretty sure you've got season 3 in the correct order. Between Jade's jealousy and Beck being inconsiderate sometimes, I think it's healthy for them to be apart for awhile. I guess last episode was to show that things really weren't going well with them with how little they were together.

Melissa

It's unfortunate that the show prioritizes Jade being a crazy jealous girlfriend for comedy over an actual coherent multi-episode arc. Like if you actually try to humanize Jade's side, she feels like Beck doesn't listen to her, prioritizes other people over her, and flirts with other girls whether intentionally or not. She also is annoyed that he's so influenced by what other people think of them. And that's all shit we've seen hinted at throughout the show but it's funnier if Jade projects her insecurities in an unreasonable jealous rage while Beck berates her and so that's what happens.

Angie

I'm pretty sure it's a Steve Harvey reference? Cause he hosts game shows right? But i guess it does sound like harvey weinstein as well...maybe it's a combination.

Angie

Also, i like they paired Cat and Andre, since they're super close in real life and the chemistry was nice. Andre is always sweet to Cat lol. The "dont start something you can't finish" gets me every time and i wonder how they possibly got that past the runners...guess they didn't care lmao. I love jade and beck, their personalities together work well. But i do think they need to fix themselves otherwise they wont work well. Beck needs to be more understanding and jade needs to be less insecure.

Angie

I think it's valid to be influenced by your friends on your relationship considering they're in a friend group. His friends didn't invite him to hang out CAUSE of the relationship. Obviously it would affect him.I would very much trust my friends' opinions on my partner...it'd be weirder if they just ignored the fact that everyone clearly sees they're fighting. He never cared what his friends thought until now, cause their fighting was never this bad. If anything, he let Jade's attitude speak for itself and just silently supported her when she went off on people unless it was unwarranted or went too far.

Melissa

I wasn’t referring to the poker game when I said that. I was referring to Jade’s irritation with Beck being so hung up on them winning worst couple. He kept using it as a reason why there was something wrong with their relationship when really she’s right. A game show based on random superficial questions (where they technically did know each other best since Beck knew about Jade’s aversion to the ocean and why and the other “couples” guessed) isn’t a valid measuring stick. He was harping on this one thing that was based on what non-friends think of them and that’s what Jade was irritated by. He also has let other people’s opinion influence him in the past, just not to such an extreme extent. Most notably there are episodes where he gets way too big an ego from their friends bashing of Jade and is disrespectful to her and their relationship ie Beck enthusiastically agreeing twice in FTFO that Jade is a bitch esp considering that Jade and Beck are not fighting or on bad terms.

Chelsea

The order has been right so far

I think you forget to look at it from the perspective that Beck probably already has insecurities about this relationship and him harping on the game is the way it comes out. Let's be honest their relationship is toxic on both sides and even if the game was stupid, it doesn't change the fact that they are indeed a bad couple (independently from the others). Also you gotta remember that they are teenagers and they are very much influenced by what others think of them, the only one who isn't in this cast is Cat but that's not a standard exemple of how teenagers act. So the fact that the opinions of others is affecting Beck is very much credible and it doesn't invalidate Jade's right to feel frustrated about it or make Beck's berating of her right, but it explains why he acts this way. Also, you brought up beck agreeing to the bashing of Jade and honestly I agree on this point. He's dead wrong for that. Although I love Jade I can admit that she is a bitch when she wants to, but when you're in a relationship it's not your place to degrade your partner in public. If you don't agree with them you have a conversation in private, you don't let people sully their name. But also teenagers... (is what the writers probably thought).

Melissa

Oh I completely agree on Beck having his own issues and reasons that are totally valid. I think he was already feeling unhappy with the fighting and unsure how to fix it or express it to Jade without a fight and tried to use other people’s opinions to show her that her there was something wrong and maybe to validate his feelings for himself. Jade obv wasn’t amenable to that approach and it escalated the fighting. I was just commenting on Jade’s POV because Steven was talking about Jade’s side at the end. The show promotes Beck’s POV as being the “right” or valid one and writes Jade’s side of arguments with the intention to be dismissed and laughed at by the audience for jokes. Dan and the writers sacrifice character everywhere for the sake of “comedy” and so Jade is always petty and jealous and a bitch and Beck is a patron saint of a boyfriend for putting up with her. Which is a shame because allowing the characters to have depth and still find the comedy in it would have made the show much better overall but it was Dan so.

Yes! PLEASE do the crossover episode before watching Season 4.

Ooh thanks for the google drive of extended version, have watched all the clips and even watched it live back in the day the one time it premiered, but have not been able to find a copy since. I think if he's going to do iCarly, we should probably wait for this episode as it will be like a little bonus to us and make a ton of more storyline sense for him. But if iCarly is currently not in question towards the end of this show, I think reacting to this would be a good idea as it's like a whole additional movie
