It’s so good. Looking forward to seeing lance reddicks role in this, lots of people watching this again after his recent passing. He was so good in this. Cast is just all around perfect casting

you're gonna have fun with this one!!

Mitochondria

JJ abrams has made some good tv shows. This and Alias.

Jorgen Karlsson

One of the best shows out there. I love it so much. Hopefully you'll love it too!

Great show. John Noble is great

Just as a correction Steven. You’ll learn his name Peter on the show as you watch it more, but I think once, you called him Pacey, cause of dawsons creek, but mostly you call him Casey. Just found little funny myself, but if ya refer to him as the DC guy, it’s Pacey. But I’m sure you’ll be calling him by this shows name Peter, soon enough as you watch it more

I'm so so happy you started Fringe, it's in my top 5 best shows of all time. The writing and acting are incredible and its the best show for people who love to connect clues through the seasons into one big mystery.

Angela

Yay! I’m so happy you’ve started watching Fringe. It’s one of my top 5 favorite shows.

yahhh! I'm so excited for this!! This is in my top 5 shows of all time. but i haven't rewatched this in a while so its going to be so fun to watch it again with you.

Stephanie Bedworth

It's a really good show and I don't think you'll regret watching it.

Melissa Rounds

I think this show inspired a lot of shows that came after it, including Stranger Things. This first season can, at times seem procedural, but as the seasons go on, you see it all ties into a bigger picture

this is a good show but for me it was a slow burn. it didn't really take off and get great for me until season 2.

OMG OMG IT IS HAPPENING! I would love to put a meme with Michael Scott at this point screaming at myself STAY F-ING CALM! I cannot believe you are finally watching Fringe, one of (without a doubt) the greatest tv shows of all time, and definitely one of the most underrated ever!

Primus

There is so much I would love to say right now, but I will leave you with this. The show is incredibly complex and to catch its brilliance you have to pay attention, there are clues given in every single episode which will tie in at one point or another so in order to fully appreciate that you have to be attentive to each episode :)

Primus

He deserved all the Emmys for his role, honestly!

Some fun facts here Steven! The episode reportedly had a budget of $10M and was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. During transitions, the symbols used, that you mentioned, like the leaf, are glyphs depicting natural elements with some unnatural changes that are easy to miss on first look. The symbols are also used, along with strategically positioned yellow dots, to make a code - a cypher - and appear before every commercial break (transition). This cypher usually makes a reference to some aspect of the overarching storyline or holds a clue to the next episode. - For this episode the cypher spelled OBSERVER (you will get the reference later on). There are so many little details that make the show great. And this is a show with great engagement and very loyal fan base. I would definitely suggest putting this Pilot on Youtube in order to let people know that you are watching this one. I guarantee you will have a lot more engagement on this show. Also, don't hesitate to ask questions, as many as you want, and I would love to answer (without any spoilers - I have experience commenting on other reactors of this show) all of them - and I am sure I will not be the only one! I cannot wait for the next episode! Until then!

Primus

You should def. stick around and see some of the comments about the little things that this show does and it will be better than you remember I am sure of it! And I bet you will realise that even the first season had more amazing episodes than you realised at first glance!

Just to keep in mind, the Earth in Fringe has some licence when it comes to technology that is normal/possible or "upcoming" to be normal - like the autopilot you asked about, which isn't really available now still (they need a lot of pilot setup to help). And obviously the artificial arm as well.
