Can't wait to watch. Let me know whether you want to do episode 4 for April's pick or if you want some time to catch up on your requests and I can throw out a pilot for Brian this month. Either way works well for me. I sent you a DM a few days ago about it.

Yay! I am such a fan of this show and The reaction request tier! So many good shows! Thank you😊

You finally recognized Olly as Lord Bridgerton! That's probably why he rubbed you the wrong was at first on Bridgerton. You were unconsciously projecting the little shit Olly onto him. lol. To be fair, it's hard to recognize people in modern dress versus heavy period costumes. The only other place I've seen the dad, Mark, is on The Crown playing Andrew Parker Bowles (Camilla's ex) in the 70s and just those few decades and a really upper-class accent make him hard to spot. I think Beth's flip out with Chloe in the bathroom is more about her fear of whether it could be Mark. If he's innocent, which she wants to believe, she may have said something to Pete that made him think the wrong thing. And she's also letting Chloe know that it may just be the two of them sticking together because she's starting to have actual doubts about Mark's innocence. I think you probably guessed it was the hotel lady Becca having the affair because she's really the only viable female that we've met to fit the bill. And she was already weirdly involved with Chloe and the cocaine. I assume it's from working there part time that Chloe suspected the affair and decided to text Becca when her dad wouldn't account for where he was. The psychic sucks, which is possibly the most realistic thing on this show. People who prey on other people's grief that way are disgusting. And I kind of love that he's played that way because there are way too many shows that make people think that's something real. I read somewhere that Olivia Colman didn't watch any police films or television preparing for this so that she would have a fresh take on the rural cop character, and I think it shows really well in this episode when she has to run the morning meeting. She lets her nerves show and just seems really natural. She has all the awards for a reason. The harbor and beach were filmed at a place called West Bay, which is adjacent to a town called Bridport, though most of the town scenes were shot in other locations. They probably didn't want to use a real town name for this type of material. Sandbrook, where Hardy worked before, I assume to be a slightly changed name for Sandbanks, which is a very affluent and more built up community in that area of England.

I'm not at the high tier but I hope this keeps getting requested or you decide to pick it up as a regular show. It's so good and pretty short.
