Thanks for the reaction! But yes, the episodes are very quick! HSMTMTS is a Disney + original, and idk why there are so many minutes worth of credits 😭 In regards to Gina talking about Gabriella’s costume, I think Gina is sarcastically trying to give advice. We already see from the last episode that Gina is trying to sabotage and possibly get rid of Nini, so that she can play Gabriella. Additionally, in this episode, even though Gina didn’t have Nini’s phone, she knew Nini wouldn’t have her phone and planned an early rehearsal. So, in Nini’s perspective, I think she just sees a lot of “sabotage” and therefore reacts by stealing more of Gina’s things 😭 So, the teacher, Benjamin, trying to sabotage Ms. Jenn (or Jenn Jennifer🤣) said that he doesn’t have enough students for their team to go to Germany. Since 4 students left the team to join the play. Very childish and petty, but I agree and stand by the fact that Ms. Jenn IS making a change even if her stories are fake. She has faith in her students and that’s all any student wants from their teacher.

To be fair E.J. had the phone, but Gina took the phone and put it in E.J's bag, which technically means she did take it, she also definitely came up with those dance moves to make things difficult for Nini and the "help" she gave with the costume was being sarcastic and she basically said Nini was boring as an actress and needed extra help to be interesting.

I Am Not Chamari

Gina did steal the phone and therefore, she did schedule a rehearsal with new choreography knowing that Nini would 1) not see it and be in trouble for being late and 2) that Nini wouldn't be able to learn the dance. Also, what Gina said about Nini being bland was totally an insult, covered up in niceties. She said it as if she was being helpful, but she was basically saying Nini is "basic" and doesn't stand out. It's actually a very backhanded thing to say about the lead of the show. All of these things, in theory, are Gina's way of pushing out Nini so Gina can become Gabriella.
