"They're not going to make it about Rachel, right?" Surprise, surprise!, Steven XD No, Rachel wasn't the most popular by season 3 but the producer created the show as a vehicle for her so he pushed for her to be front and center because sure, some of the kids were getting too popular for their own good. He brought new kids to do nothing with them, just to fill in the space of the old cast but without the danger of them getting more popular than Rachel.... That's why they don't get storylines or songs. The idea is to have a club that doesn't represent any danger or competition to the character. Good news is next episode is the least Rachel you'll see and some old cast is back so you'll be able to enjoy it more. But the rest, yeah, it's all about Rachel 'till the very last minute of the show. Well, not that I kept watching after ep 8, but I've read about it.

He’s gonna hate what happens next ep i’m guessing and yeah I really wish we focused more on the s6 group rather than Rachel it would be 100x more interesting, at this point it’s just fun to watch steven hate on the show but also have a good time doing it

Also 6x10 does not have a lot of rachel either, at least she’s not the “A” plot, and even though 6x12 focuses on rachel, i think that’s the one ep in a long time he will enjoy it

I don't mind anymore Rachel having the A storyline but just don't make it boring and don't bring new people to do nothing. It's like Groundhound day with her all the time. She's always auditioning for something and terrified to do it but ultimately she triumphs and even the performances seem like copy paste of the last one. It's like she's trapped in an eternal loop.
