God, Cory and Shawn only studying when they think they're cheating is hilarious... And Turner and Feeny betting on them was great. I love them being willing to learn from each other, not passing off each other's ways of teaching. It's very different from past episodes where they've done similar, with showing them having different ways of dealing with the kids. Usually we'll see them talking about it and we'll know what's going on with them with their conflict, and they'll actually be kinda at odds over it. Whereas here, we just see the aftermath, with Feeny paying up after losing the bet. It kinda shows that he was willing to see how Turner's plan went and not just write it off as a bad idea. Which is different to previous episodes where he's kinda stopped him from doing whatever it was that he was doing, and then in the end they have a moment where he admits maybe Turner was right, or they both realise they should be a little more like each other sometimes. Ya know? I get what you mean about Cory and Shawn being really dumb. Don't worry, it doesn't last too long. I mean, it lasts a little longer with Shawn than it does Cory, but it's not too bad. I think this episode is kinda the height of it. (Though Shawn wasn't acting like he didn't know what a book was, it was more he was tuning Feeny out and just not listening to a word he said. It's more about his response to authority than anything at that moment.) You're getting into the more mature episodes. I think this is kinda a weird time where they're kinda trying to find the right balance as they get older between comedy and drama. But I wouldn't worry, Season 3 is one of the best seasons imo and you're very close. :) Also, Rider Strong isn't a fan of dumb Shawn either, so you're not alone! Haha
