Xander is always doing too much when it comes to Angel. He didn't tell Buffy Willow was restoring Angel's soul and now he's shaming her for a complicated love life while he cheats on his girlfriend. And lore says that without a soul it's the demon in the body and cursed with a soul it's the demon and the soul with the soul being the one in the driver's seat.

I love this episode😂 We get to see Buffy fight Faith, everyone finally finds out Angel’s back, and Giles gets disappointed in Buffy. So much drama. Xander is being a hypocrite but still has a valid point. Angel may be cured/cursed again but that only can last as long as he and Buffy don’t get physical and they clearly have trouble keeping away from each other. Xander and Willow are cheating on their partners but Buffy is technically putting them all at risk by being romantic with Angel once again. I think it’s easy to be mad at Xander in this episode but he wasn’t the only one who has a problem with Buffy and Angel’s relationship. Everyone was concerned because all it takes is one happy night with Buffy and Angel could kill them all. Yes it was technically Angelous who terrorized them but it’s not that easy to forgive and forget someone who has the same face as your abuser. Giles can’t forgive him that easily and he had every right to be angry. His disappointment in Buffy was real and valid despite him being frustrated and talked down to by Mrs. Post throughout the episode. And Xander’s anger and disappointment was real and valid despite his obvious jealousy of Angel. So much happening in this episode I love it👍🏼
