Decent episode. I find it pretty fun despite a lot of it being set up for the last run of the season. They found out that they were being cancelled right around this time so Joss had to fit stuff he had planned for future seasons into the final stretch of episodes. Angel actually had really good ratings and Joss was tired of always waiting to find out last minute if they were picked up for another season so he got bold and decided to ask for an early renewal so he could plan for next season. And even though the ratings were good, the network didn’t like being pushed to make a decision so early so they just decided to cancel it instead. So Joss wrote these last group of episodes cramming everything that he had ideas for in the future or was going to wrap up down the line into these last 5 or so episodes.

certain story points being changed so obviously feel like when something happens behind the scenes in wrestling so they gotta job someone out and push someone else randomly lol
