Britta from Community was just in the pilot because she got the job on Community. The pacing on these first few episodes is actually slow compared to the rest of the series as they give other characters storylines. This show manages pacing better than any show I’ve ever seen. I hope you keep going with it. The talent they bring in for guest stares still amazes me.

I'm glad you're liking it so far. I think it's one of the best legal dramas. I agree with you about Kalinda's age. I don't understand they made her 25 when the actress was around 37 at the time.

I agree, the start of the show is just easing us into it, but it gets so much better. They make the first episode super case focused with all other stuff kinda in the background, and they just introduce us to Alicia's character and her situation, and honestly making a pretty damn good job of making us like and care for her.

I hope you pick up the whole series, coz it's honestly much better than Suits. The Good Wife was one of those "surprise shows" for me. You know, when you actually don't think you are going to love it and it doesn't even seem the type of show you normally watch and enjoy, but then you decide to check it out anyways and end up REALLY loving it and it exceeds all your expectations.

This show is so much better than Suits. Each season is better than the last. It also finds it's own style alone the way and has many iconic recurring characters. It has a spin-off The Good Fight which is also fantastic. I love legal series too and The Good Wife is one of the best legal dramas out there

Just fyi Logan's actor from Gilmore Girls was on The Good Wife right after Gilmore Girls and then went on his current show called "The Resident" on FOX (which I can only recommend!).
