Ugh, Cami's death wrecks me every time. First Finn, then Cami and now possibly Davina!? I been slapping the tears off my face the entire episode trying not to have a breakdown. 😭Rip Camille Also, yes Klaus always put white oak ash on the dagger before daggering his family. It's seen in TVD often, but they haven't really showed that in Originals. Klaus daggered Elijah in season 1 but they didn't actually show him dipping it in the vile of ash. Probably because they figured it was a little redundant. Great reaction to this episode. I don't consistently comment, but I speak when warranted. I was crying along with you, man. Till next time — whew, we'll see what's going on with Davina next episode.

This episode, I've been waiting/dreading this episode, it's both a great episode and terrible because it was so sad watching Cami's death and then what happened with Davina right after. I've had problems with the Ancestors because of their sacrificing kids and brainwashing them in season 1, then when they tried to force Genevieve to kill Hope, but this season was just the official, the Ancestors are the worst moments for me.

This episode title is really ironically titled "no more heartbreaks" and literally one of the most heartbreaking if not the most heartbreaking episode of the series. Cami was really the mediator between all of them. And her last scene with Klaus was so good - "I guess that makes me immortal." The ancestors are really the worst. Hating an entire species so much that you're killing innocents just to see them dead even though you are already dead yourself. They are some petty bitches. Lucien wouldn't have been able to do shit without them. And them killing Davina, one of their own is just beyond sick.

Oh and about the ash: you have to soak the dagger in white oak ash before daggering someone otherwise it's just like a stake and they can pull it out. For them to stay daggered you have to dip it in the ash.

Apparently the reason Cami died was because the actress left the show because people were harassing her like crazy and sending her death threats all because they wanted Klaus to be with Caroline.
