its kind of crazy how it took till season 5 for us to meet one of Brooke's parents. Based on what she has said about her and how her parent's kinda just left it isn't surprising to see her mom the way she is. But yeah Peyton in season 5 in general isn't her greatest moment in my opinion. Lindsey is really just trying to be nice she didn't do anything wrong here. As I said before I'm not a lucas and peyton fan myself so I understand how you feel.

For me this is Peyton's weakest season in terms of her character she just is not my favorite in season 5. The choices she makes and the way she acts eh its not it for me. Victoria and Brooke's relationship and work is complicated. Victoria is basically the Vice President of the company it may have started as Brookes line but Victoria has grown it.

Ok episode, a lot to dislike. Peyton is my favorite but she was so terrible in this episode. The writers do her dirty all season long I swear. Lindsey is so dang nice that Peyton looks like a real ogre in comparison. And I hate that Lucas is also not honest about his feelings or his motivations. The timing of his suddenly being inspired to write should be suspect to him as well. I hate the Mouth storyline, I don't understand why he would put up with her constant harassment, there are other jobs that you can get, I'm sure of it. And the kiss at the end was gross. And Nanny Carrie creeps me out, I just feel uncomfortable anytime she is alone with Nathan. We finally meet Brooke's mom officially and yeah she's a bitch. Its an interesting dynamic to say the least. I think it's kind of the first time we ever see Brooke cower to anyone. Her Mom holds a lot of sway over her.

the stuff with mouth and everything is even more uncomfortable now knowing everything about the showrunner. But yeah I agree I imagine the further we get into the season the peyton bashing will probably get worse lol

I prefer Lucas and Peyton apart as well! And honestly, Peyton is annoying this whole season. I think the writers did her very wrong. Lucas has always been like this tho. He is a jerk in disguise (of a nice boy). He has his good moments but compared to the bad, especially when it comes to relationships, it's nothing.

I like the actress that plays Peyton, I like the character, I like a lot of the storylines she has, I really love music and stories or shows that are about music and her characters story is heavily involved in music, she should be my favorite character. But she's not because of the way she's treating Lindsey and a lot of the Lucas and Peyton storyline. Although I root for Lucas and Peyton to be together, because whenever their not all they do is hurt the people their with, so I would rather them be together so they can stop being idiots and hurting other people. That being said, I do like Peyton's story with her record label and her and Brooke's friendship, that we finally get to see them really being friends and not fighting over Lucas. Also, I like that people here are defending Lindsey and saying Peyton and Lucas aren't great, because when I was watching this show the first time and was watching some other reactors, all I would hear are negative comments about Lindsey, how she's the worst, that people loved when Peyton was mean to her, that they wanted her to just go away, that the actress sucked, that she was a copy of Peyton, So, I'm glad that doesn't seem to be the reaction here.

The ONLY reason I *ship* Lucas and Peyton is because they're two volatile characters when they're not together, especially Peyton who is going out of her way to be a bitch out of petty jealousy and entitlement. I don't know why the writers expected us to be like EW, LINDSAY when all she did was meet a single guy and fall in love. I also think that Brooke and the music label are the only redeeming qualities of Peyton's character lmao. But I have to say, I do love this season regardless of Lucas and Peyton. The more mature vibe was so needed to refresh the show! I can't wait for you to see the rest!

I like The storyline with peyton and her label and her and brooke also. I don't mind her storyline with lindsey just because people can be jelous and petty and I Kinda think it has some funny moments if you don't take to seriously!

I think Peyton's friendship with Brooke and storyline/friendship with Haley saved her a little for me, but she is pretty terrible. That was the deciding factor on who I thought was worse, her or Lucas. There is no saving Lucas.
