Yes the hot dogs kill them, Alex says that's a new flavor and than Reggie says relax street dogs haven't killed us yet and than you see the ambulance so it is established that its the hot dogs. Also not a spoiler cause they say it in the pilot the 4th band mate's name was Bobby and Julie's dads name is Ray. I WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO CONTINUE TO WATCH THE SHOW, NETFLIX REALLY DROPPED THE BALL CANCELLING IT.

This is one of my favorite shows, still upset netflix cancelled it after one season like they do everything. Almost every song is a banger, the characters are amazing and its just a great little show. Like you ssaid, its a very short show . so I hope you find the time to do the whole season. You will love it.
