I think pretty much everyone got into this episode mainly because SPN does weird REALLY well. They just have that balance. Dark, wonderful, comedic balance that most other shows just can't pull off. I'm so excited for you to react to their other weird episodes as we go on. I think the Xanna concept in SPN is VERY cool because it just makes sense. There are plenty of kids in the world who need a Sully, a Weems, a Nikki or a Sparkle. I'd think that a lot of hunters' kids would need Xanna because they'd be lonely as hell, just like Sam. And Sam had Dean. Imagine a hunter's kid who's an only child...

Oh, and Sully even after all these years, even when Sam is now in his 30s as opposed to a 9 y/o kid, still putting Sam first, always checking in to see if Sam was doing okay as the case went on, keeping it together cuz he wanted to be strong for Sam...that was very sweet. I think it made Dean respect Sully when he saw that.
