What I find crazy is the number of times that everyone, including Stefan, keep telling Damon how much better everyone would be without him, yet now when he actively is removing himself from their lives Stefan gets pissy? Plus, Damon has sacrificed himself numerous times for Stefan (and a few times for almost everyone else as well) but unlike Stefan who makes a point of making sure everyone knows how much he has sacrificed to be a hero, Damon doesn't, and doesn't ever bring any of it up to hold over Stefan or anyone else. Just like with Lily telling Damon that he is not her son, then turning around and pretending she has been nothing but a loving mother to him the entire time and Damon out of nowhere just hates her, now we are supposed to believe that the huntress who said that her desire is to rid the world of all vampires now wants to offer Stefan, a vampire, the chance to be free and live if they transfer his mark to Damon. What is to stop her from just turning around and killing Stefan and all other vampires she comes across after killing a marked Damon?
