youre really hung up on the story thing. one this show has never had this season arching story ever. 2 theres been things that contribute to a picture throughout the seasons that lead to a full picture in the finale. but this isnt the type of show about season long stories. its a procedural drama. its like going to antartica for the lights and expecting perfect beach scenery or listening to a nas album expecting pop bangers.

that's such an interesting thing about this show. like compare it to grey's, another medical drama at this exact same time, grey's has the drama and the over arching stories that span seasons but with house it's more along the lines of criminal minds or even a law and order. it's what makes house so unique of a show. it's more a procedural than anything. that being said i did recently get back into greys and i think stephen would love that. the drama, the storyline, the consistent character growth. house is a good show but it's vastly different in so many ways, even in sub-drama, which is funny/interesting because they're both medical dramas they just go about presenting that to the audience in wildly different ways
