Juliette is new to her powers and would have no control and since the show puts inference on wesen controlling their emotions to not change or act out that would be something Julitte would have to learn. Adalind has been what she is her whole life and would know how to control herself in public since the entire wesen community is about secrecy.

I think because of the history Nick has with Adalind and her mother that Juliette feels Nick would kill her on site. I always felt she should have trusted and confided in him like she wanted Nick to do when the show started, and he started going through changes. Juliette is even starting to distance herself from Nick without having a reason to fall back on as to why she is pulling away from him.
