i love this episode. seeing mr. turner's interaction with cory and just how he handles his classroom is really awesome. i also really loved the realization he had when mr. feeney said "as am i." it's so...idk if fun is the right word, but it's really cool to see mr. feeny teach across generations - the kids in his class and halls, as well as the young new teacher still getting his footing as well. i do wish shawn had more consequences though. he kinda felt like he was going off the rails and i wish someone had stepped in and kind of come down on him to put a stop to it before he continued to just get worse. i love jason so much omg i forgot just how hilarious his dynamic with eric is. he's such a gem. the harvey stuff is weird. i used to not mind it but now i just find it flat out weird and a bit off-putting when they cut to him and his little gang. as much as i love the actors that play his sidekicks. he just feels way too old and way too off. more like mr. turner than an actual high school senior. even if he did get held back. it just is a bit jarring when they cut to him and his dry ass humor. but overall i really love this episode for mr. feeny and mr. turner. it also kinda goes further into humanizing teachers and principals. the actor that plays mr. feeny actually didn't want the role because he was worried it'd make fun of tough, but good, teachers. they all assured him that wasn't the intent at all behind his character. i just find myself really appreciating him more and more as the years go on.
