I absolutely love this episode. As much as the fandom craps on Luke, I think it is noteworthy that he has had a measurable impact on everyone's lives. Even if he didn't want himself or Nathan to go in the school that day, because they were young and didn't know what they were doing, as soon as he saw the blood, he knew what he had to do. Just because he's more of a reluctant hero doesn't take that away. Lucas has never been a bad person, and his bad dating decisions have somehow muddied that. I'm glad we got this episode because it shows the positive impact he's had on everyone's lives and that no matter one's mistakes and poor choices, the good choices you make DO matter. And with a flawed lead character like Luke, he really is the perfect character to do this with.

I def needed that episode, cuz I was lowkey falling off the Lucas bandwagon, what with his higher than thou attitude towards Nathan sometimes and past relationship choices. Like you said it def shows us how much of a positive impact he has on the ppl around him, that goodness thats been “muddied” by some of the writing was why i initially gravitated towards Lucas in the first place

I think that this episode really is a cool idea. I mean you can see it 2 ways, either it really is Keiths spirit or it is Lucas' subconscious speaking to him :)
