Woo in my opinion was not ready in the earlier seasons to know about wesen or Nick secret. He did not work closely like Hank did and what he saw he never believed or played off. Why would Nick give Woo information about something he did not believe in? The captain didn't want Woo to know either because than he would find out about him. There is a reason the wesen community is a secret. There were instances where Nick would listen to what Woo said about the cases that he assisted Nick with but if he doesn't show signs of believing some of the things he encountered Nick has no reason to elaborate on them. Woo's reaction now is what Nick wants to avoid. Him confronting them finally and asking for answers but then running away when they stop you from shooting someone whether they look different or not is not a good thing to be doing if you really want answers.
