I love the business card scene :D it's so brilliant and hilarious. I think it shows how these people are in their own little bubble, status is everything to them, so they measure themselves and eachother by completely superficial things like this. Paul Allen had better status in some areas in their eyes like handling a better account in their job, getting reservations at Dorsia, this messed with Patricks head so much that he perceived Pauls card to be superior as well. Even though the card was nearly identical, just like the rest of them and it didn't actually have a watermark. 😄 The card could've looked like the most basic of them all, but they would blow it up in their eyes and see it in some way better because it was Paul Allens. XD Patricks ego is so fragile, he gets devastated by this, the way he bragged about his own card it's as if he waited a long time to do it, and then he thinks everyone elses card was better and his wasn't as impressive lol. The whole move is like this, it makes fun of their fixations of shallow and irrelevant things so they become oblivious to what's important. Like when he was dragging a dead body of someone he just murdered, but when his colleague saw it, he focuses that it's a fancy bag and not what's he's actually doing with it. 🤣 it's all about appearances. And when Patrick was ready to strangle a guy over his business card too, I think by that point the frustration grew even more, so he couldn't believe even the biggest moron in the city has a card with something better on it.

Let me know where review portion of the reaction is. But so far you seem to think it's all in his head. I don't think he imagined everything, I think he couldn't tell reality from imagination anymore. The book leaves no doubt some of these things really happened, but since the movie shows all events from Patricks eyes, I also don't know which ones were real. ;D
